WINDMARK

BEACH VILLAGE CENTER

EMO/ARCHITECTS spearheaded the planning and design team as the Program Manager for the St. Joe Company to successfully plan, design, and construct its new, $86 million WindMark Beach Village Center mixed-use development project.  EMO provided planning services, program management services in collaboration with the design architect consultants and construction manager. EMO assisted the client in preparing strategic master plan concepts for the property and developed the budget and schedule analyses, as well as assisted in the negotiation of agreements between project team members and the St. Joe Company. The new, natural beachfront town center is located between Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach, Florida. WindMark Beach was developed with the premise that life can be both invigorating and relaxing. Both active and passive. Both exciting and tranquil. The BeachWalk is the heart of the WindMark Beach community expanding the length of the town along the water’s edge, nestled into the natural landscape. Emanating from the beach, perpendicular to the BeachWalk is the Village Center, the soul of WindMark Beach. Designed to offer a comfortable blend of urban excitement and coastal tranquility, the Village Center is amidst mixed-use buildings including places to shop, meet and stay. The accommodations reside above the shops creating the ultimate urban feel, while offering a unique coastal style found only in this special stretch of beach on Florida’s Northwest Gulf Coast, often referred to as the Forgotten Coast.
