EMO's collaborative design studio possesses unique qualifications in county, state and federal judicial facilities, including: Courtrooms, Ancillary facilities, Public Safety Institutes and Correctional Facilities. Our firm provides a wide range of services from preliminary feasibility studies through major new building programs; additions, restoration, rehabilitation, and renovations. Services also include: site analytics and improvements; space needs analysis; historical context evaluation and preservation; program management services and project scheduling and budgeting.

 

Our most successfully completed project where we faced the most challenges is both Lake City & South Bay Correctional Facility. EMO provided full time on-site owner’s representation for both of these privatized correctional facilities here in Florida. The EMO Team understands all aspects involved in the design, permitting, and construction of correctional and juvenile Justice Facilities. Even with a stringent time frame dictated by the Governor and Florida Legislation, with 3 out of 15 hurricanes passing directly through the sites EMO completed both Lake City & South Bay Correctional Facility projects on time, no change orders, under budget and with $2.6 million returned to the state.
