PARKING GARAGE III

Located in FSU’s new Medical Quadrant, Parking Garage No. III is a four-story, 1,500-car, student and faculty parking garage with interior scissor ramps.  The first level has 400 faculty spaces while the upper three floors provide abundant student parking. The structural frame is precast concrete, double tees and columns, and has brick and precast exterior cladding.  Stair towers are located at the corners of the building and elevator/stair structures are located at the north and south building elevations. The garage has two-way traffic on each floor and has vehicular access on two levels. Accessible parking spaces are located on each floor and visitor parking is located at the first level. The garage was designed to be compatible with new and existing campus facilities as the central axis, in plan, aligning with the Medical Complex pedestrian walkway at the north side of the building and the Athletic Complex entrance to the south. The design has surface parking for 160 cars at the west side of the site, which can be converted into a future building site for the Medical complex.
