FAMU’s Animal Science Research secured a grant to make needed upgrades to their existing laboratory spaces in order to maintain their accreditation. Included in this project was the installation of a new high pressure steam line needed to operate the cage washing machines. In addition, new humidifiers, doors, frames and hardware, and new sinks in each of the animal rooms were installed. A new plastic coated acoustical ceiling tile system was installed in the hall way of the Dyson Building lab area along with a new cage wash sink. Minor HVAC system renovations were also completed in the Dyson Building lab area.
