EMO provided Architectural   Services for the Structural Improvements and Painting of Doak Campbell Stadium. EMO next performed a survey of the existing Auxiliary Support Building under the  stadium to determine Life Safety code compliance and recommended corrective measures required to bring the entire stadium into compliance with today’s codes.  EMO provided Architectural Services to design and construct a new Prototype Auxiliary Support Building which will   replace the existing structures which do not meet building and Life Safety code requirements. EMO staff members work closely with the Florida State Fire Marshal's office to arrive at a building type and design which meet the Life Safety Code requirements for fire rating in a Multi-Use Assembly facility.  The new prototype building is a 990 GSF building that can be constructed as a 1-hour or 2-hour fire rated assembly, depending on the use and occupancy.

FILM LAB & MAINTENANCE

As part of the on-going improvements of Doak Campbell Stadium, the FSU Athletic Department selected EMO to provide architectural design services for two additional stadium support services buildings. EMO replaced existing facilities that no longer complied with building and life safety codes. The first building to be replaced was the film lab, which was used in years past to develop photo taken during home football games. The new replacement facility is a 990 GSF building that seats 22 photojournalists and has high speed internet computer cabling, a private office and restrooms that meet ADA requirements.
