EMO completed renovations to the original Chaires Elementary School building, which was being utilized for PreK-4, Kindergarten and support facilities. The project consisted of replacing all existing windows, refinishing existing/original exterior and frames, replacing existing sliding classroom connector doors with swinging wood doors, replacing finish of existing millwork, replacing existing chalk boards and tack boards with dry erase marker boards, replacing existing floor finishes and bases, repainting existing wall surfaces, and renovating the existing toilet facilities to meet ADA standards. In addition, the scope of the project included the installation of a new fire protection sprinkler system throughout the building, as well as the addition of a new warming kitchen.
